CloudOps Engineer

Jens is a CloudOps Engineer at Evolate, focusing on Automation and AWS.

Jens has worked in IT for over three years after a long career within the Security industry. He was always interested in technology, so IT was a natural switch when he wanted a career change.

He began in tech doing an internship within DevOps/Infrastructure, working with scripting, Ansible, VMware, and storage systems. For the last three years, he has worked for a private cloud provider dedicated to PCI-DSS. His primary focuses at this company were Automation, Monitoring, and Linux.

Jens continues to work with automation, monitoring, DevOps tooling, AWS, and more in his role here at Evolate.

Main Techs: Automation, Linux, Monitoring, Security.

  • Jens loves Yrkeshögskolan (which gave him the opportunity to be able to change career later in life) and American/Fantasy football
  • He dislikes penguins that kill 
  • And he spends some of his free time helping his wife to deliver cakes from her cake studio
