Senior Cloud Architect

Jonas is a Senior Cloud Architect at Evolate, with a focus on Infrastructure and Automation.

Jonas has worked in tech for 20+ years in many different roles. He began his career in support & monitoring and, over the years, transitioned through testing, QA, and Application work, to DevOps. He started working as a DevOps specialist in 2016 - focusing on Ansible, CI/CD, and AWS (as this company had recently begun its Cloud journey). Once he was on the AWS train, there was no stopping him... Jonas has focused on it ever since.

In his last role, he worked extensively with Terraform, Python, and EKS/ECS. Jonas is a passionate architect who always wants to find the right solution for his customers - leaving a tidy legacy is important to him!

Main techs: AWS, Linux, CI/CD, Containers, Automation

  • Jonas loves music (both listening and making) and old computers (using and maintaining them)
  • He dislikes when people run 4:3 aspect ratio games stretched out on 16:9 screens
  • And he has an actual arcade hall at home (and when he says at home, he means lined up in the hallway because he has no room!)
